Calmness. Clarity. Stress Reduction

Therapist for Anxiety and Panic Attacks in Person and Online

You feel stressed. You feel worried. You feel as though your body is ready to bolt.

Anxiety touches everything we do. Mild, moderate, severe – living with anxiety means living with constant stress, distractions, and discomforts that affect your behavior and your ability to lead a happy, fulfilling life.

  • Anxiety creates a feeling of unease in any relationship. It can make you doubt yourself, cause you to feel distracted, make it difficult to feel close to people, and much more. Those with anxiety find that it is harder to be in relationships and manage them when they are anxious and worried often.

  • Those with anxiety often feel uncomfortable asking for raises or promotions. They may not be able to focus or have enough energy to put into daily tasks. They may feel sick often, or overthink various interactions. They may feel extreme stress coming to work and be less able to recover after leaving.

I work with individuals who…

  • Can’t seem to “shut their brain off,” especially at night

  • Constantly anticipate the worst-case scenario

  • Overthink conversations and replay them repeatedly

  • Feel restless or irritable without knowing why

  • Experience physical symptoms like a racing heart or tight chest

  • Have panic attacks or feel on the verge of one

  • Worry about things most people seem to handle easily

  • Struggle to focus or stay organized because of racing thoughts

Anxiety touches everything we do. But it is also treatable. Partnering with a therapist for anxiety can help you develop better cognitive tools for addressing stress, gain insight into the origins of your anxiety, and much more, all to help you stop it from controlling your life. How it works

My Approach to Therapy

Anxiety’s presence in your life means that you cannot truly be yourself. That’s why, working together, my role is to help you take back control of your mental health and stop letting anxiety affect how you function.

In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns behind your anxiety and uncover what’s fueling the discomfort. Whether you’re dealing with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, or panic attack symptoms, we’ll identify specific moments when anxiety tends to show up and develop clear strategies for managing it.

We’ll look at how anxiety impacts your relationships, your self-talk, and your daily decisions. Together, we’ll find ways to interrupt those anxious cycles - so you can get back to living a life that feels calmer, more confident, and more under your control.

I’ll also teach you practical tools to manage the physical sensations of anxiety - such as grounding exercises, thought de-fusion, and breathwork - so you have techniques to fall back on in the moment.

If your anxiety is connected to past experiences or trauma, we can go deeper and process those safely and intentionally. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral strategies with somatic awareness to help you reconnect with your body and mind in a grounded way.

Whether you’ve been living with anxiety for years or it’s something new, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe for you. I’ll be here to support your progress every step of the way.

I am based in New Canaan, CT, near Darien, Wilton, and Stamford for those looking for an in-person anxiety therapist. I am also licensed in both Connecticut and New York State, so those comfortable with remote counseling should reach out from any location.
